Qionghai

Qionghai is a county-level city on the east coast of Hainan Island, best known as home to the town of Boao, the permanent site of the Boao Forum for Asia, a prominent annual gathering of political and business leaders. Its Yudai Beach, a slender sandbar dividing river from sea, is a celebrated natural landmark, and the tropical coast draws beach and wellness tourists. The city was also the setting of the revolutionary story of the 'Red Detachment of Women'. For an international student, Qionghai offers a warm tropical climate, palm-fringed beaches and a rising free-trade-port economy.
