📖 About the university

Fuzhou University Zhicheng College is an undergraduate institution in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province, founded in 2003 with Fuzhou University as its main sponsor. It has grown into an engineering-led, application-oriented comprehensive college in which science, engineering, economics, management, the humanities and the arts develop together. The college is organised into around seventeen teaching units and offers about forty-three undergraduate majors linked to leading, emerging and traditional industries of the regional economy. Its strengths include electrical engineering and automation, computer science, financial management and civil engineering, and it draws on the academic resources of its parent Fuzhou University. In recent years its total admissions have exceeded two thousand eight hundred students annually across many provinces. Located in the well-connected provincial capital of Fujian, it prepares applied professionals for the manufacturing, information and service sectors of the southeastern coast.
