Ordos Institute of Technology, established in 2015, is a public undergraduate institution jointly built by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the city of Ordos. It was formed by merging three predecessor colleges, the earliest of which dates to 1959, and focuses on applied technology serving the regional energy and chemical industries.
