Southeast University (SEU) is a public research university in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu province, with roots reaching back to 1902, and it is one of China's oldest and most respected engineering-focused universities. It is included in Project 985, Project 211, and the Double First-Class initiative. SEU is especially renowned for architecture, being one of the founders of modern architectural education in China, as well as for civil engineering, information and electronic engineering, transportation, and automation.
