The Institute of Disaster Prevention is a public undergraduate college in Sanhe, Hebei, administered by the China Earthquake Administration and founded in 1975. It is the only higher-education institution in China dedicated to disaster prevention and mitigation, offering distinctive programs in geophysics, earthquake science and emergency management.
