China Jiliang University in Hangzhou is the only university in China devoted to metrology (measurement science), standardization and quality inspection, founded in 1978 under the national quality-supervision administration. It uniquely trains the specialists who staff China's measurement, certification, inspection and quality-control systems, and its programs in metrology and quality engineering are without peer nationally.
