Hubei University of Chinese Medicine in Wuhan, founded in 1954, is the leading traditional-Chinese-medicine university of Hubei province in central China. It teaches Chinese medicine, acupuncture and tuina, Chinese pharmacy, clinical medicine and nursing, drawing on the deep herbal-medicine heritage of the Shennongjia and central-China region.
