Wannan Medical College in Wuhu, founded in 1958, is a medical university in southern Anhui and an important trainer of doctors for the region. It offers clinical medicine, pharmacy, nursing, medical imaging and forensic medicine, and runs major affiliated hospitals on the Yangtze.
