Henan University of Science and Technology is a large comprehensive university in the ancient capital of Luoyang, and one of the flagship public universities of Henan Province. Founded in 1952 and rooted in China's machine-tool and bearing industries, it has particular strength in mechanical engineering, materials science and bearing technology, tied closely to Luoyang's manufacturing base.
