📖 About the university

Xijing University is a private undergraduate university located in the university district of western Xi'an. Founded in 1994, it was approved to offer bachelor's programmes in 2005, gained degree-awarding powers in 2009 and became a pilot institution for professional master's education in 2011, making it one of the earliest private universities in China to offer postgraduate study. The university is comprehensive in scope, with recognised strengths in accounting, civil and mechanical engineering and design. It emphasises applied, practice-oriented education and has built a large modern campus serving more than twenty thousand students.
