📖 About the university

Cangzhou Jiaotong College is a private undergraduate institution on Xueyuan Road in Huanghua, the port city of Cangzhou prefecture on Hebei's Bohai coast. Construction of its campus began in September 2006, and in May 2008 the Ministry of Education approved the school as the Haibin College of Beijing Jiaotong University, an independent college created by that major transport-engineering university together with the Ronghe (Huanghua) science and education company. On 18 December 2020 the ministry approved its separation from Beijing Jiaotong University and conversion into a free-standing private institution under the present name, wholly held by the Ronghe company. The campus covers a registered 1,000 mu with about 365,000 square metres of building across 34 structures, from teaching and laboratory blocks to a library and sports grounds. Nine departments and a foundation teaching unit cover mechanical and electrical engineering, electronic information and control, civil engineering, chemical engineering, computer science, transportation, economics and management, foreign languages and the arts — a catalogue that keeps the rail-and-transport DNA of its Beijing Jiaotong parentage. The motto is to advance virtue, cultivate one's work and unite knowledge with action. Teaching is in Chinese and enrolment is domestic.
