Xi'an Technological University (XATU) is a public university in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, founded in 1955 as part of China's national defence ordnance-industry system. It is the only comprehensive ordnance-industry university in northwestern China offering bachelor, master and doctoral training, with strengths in optical engineering, materials and mechatronics.
