📖 About the university
Harbin Sport University is a public specialised sports university in Harbin, established in 1958 on the basis of an earlier sports school and later restored after mergers during the 1970s. It is one of China's most important bases for training winter-sports talent, reflecting Heilongjiang's status as a centre of ice and snow athletics. Programs span winter sports, sport training, physical education, and sport rehabilitation, and the university has served as a venue for events such as the Winter Universiade. It enrols international students, who can study Chinese alongside sport-related programs.
