Guangdong Baiyun University is a private applied undergraduate university in Guangzhou, tracing its origins to a school of applied technology founded in 1989 and upgraded to university status in 2005. It focuses on applied engineering, management, design and foreign languages, serving over eighteen thousand students. Through its School of International Education it has built cooperation and exchange programmes with universities in more than ten countries.
