📖 About the university
Inner Mongolia Minzu University is a public comprehensive university in Tongliao, in the eastern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, formed in 2000 from colleges founded in 1958. It is one of China's largest institutions for ethnic-minority education, enrolling many Mongolian and other minority students. The university is distinctively strong in traditional Mongolian medicine and Mongolian language and literature, along with agriculture and animal science. It serves as a major cultural and educational center for the Mongolian-speaking regions of northeast China.
