No metro in Zhangping. Use buses or a taxi/Didi to reach downtown. Note: the older in-town Zhangping Station stopped passenger service in January 2019 and now handles freight only.

Opened 29 December 2018 on the Nanping–Longyan railway; it became Zhangping's current passenger gateway after the old in-town station (built 1957, on the Yingtan–Xiamen line) stopped carrying passengers in 2019.
