Yanshi has no metro. The station is close to central Yanshi District; use local buses or a taxi/Didi, and buses also connect onward to nearby Luoyang.

Opened in 1908 with the Longhai railway; a second-class passenger and freight station. Yanshi sits near the Erlitou archaeological site, one of the earliest urban sites of Chinese civilisation.
