Large modern station on Wuhan's eastern edge. Halal food is easiest in central Wuhan's Hui Muslim quarter. Allow extra time for the long metro ride.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

Wuhan Tianhe International Airport (WUH, far northwest): from Wuhan East Railway Station take Metro Line 11 and transfer to Line 2, which runs to Tianhe Airport Terminal 3; about 1 hour 25 minutes for 8 yuan. The metro is the low-cost option; a taxi at around 120 yuan and 50 minutes is the fast choice.
