Traveller notes

The Xiyan high-speed line opened in full on 26 December 2025, connecting Xi'an with Yan'an via ten stations including Tongchuan, cutting the journey to roughly an hour. The station is a major upgrade for the old industrial city of Tongchuan, historically known for its ceramics.
