It dates back to 1941 as Tieshanibao Station on the old Suihua–Jiamusi railway. Rebuilt with a 'Gateway to the Forest Sea' design theme, it reopened on 23 December 2024 as a stop on the Harbin–Yichun high-speed railway, now serving both conventional and high-speed trains with 3 platforms and 9 tracks.
