🚇 To & from the city centre
This is the station that plugs Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport directly into the high-speed network: the station is about 3 km from the airport, and on leaving it you walk roughly 100 m to the right of the exit into the terminal, or take a free shuttle bus that reaches the terminal in five minutes. The shuttle departs from outside Gate 3 on the first floor of Terminal 2, running 06:30-21:30 every 30 minutes. To central Shijiazhuang: a high-speed train covers the 37 km to Shijiazhuang Station in as little as 13 minutes.
A second-class station administered by Shijiazhuang Station under China Railway Beijing Group, with about 10,000 sqm of floor space, opened on 26 December 2012 with the Beijing–Guangzhou high-speed line. It is marketed through the airport's 'air–rail through-ticketing' (空铁联运) service, which links the airport with more than thirty cities on the Beijing–Guangzhou and Tianjin–Baoding high-speed lines, among them Beijing, Tianjin, Baoding, Handan, Xingtai, Taiyuan and Zhengzhou. It is 244 km from Beijing West, with a fastest journey time of 1 hour 3 minutes, which makes Zhengding a practical alternative to the Beijing airports for some routes.
