Pingxiang has no metro. Taxis and local buses reach downtown and the Friendship Pass border crossing to Vietnam (about 10-15 minutes).

Traveller notes

Built in 1952 as a border railway station on the Xiang-Gui line, it links to Vietnam's rail network via the Pingxiang-Dong Dang crossing. It is a second-class station managed by China Railway Nanning Group. A high-speed line to Pingxiang is under construction and will add a future Pingxiang East station.
