Opened 28 December 2016 on the Shanghai–Kunming high-speed line, it later became the starting point of the Panzhou–Xingyi high-speed railway toward Xingyi. The station has 3 platforms and 7 tracks with a total building area of 25,100 sqm, serving as a key transport hub for coal-rich western Guizhou.
