Mengla has no metro. The station is about 2 km from the Mengla county center; use a local bus or a taxi/Didi. It is also a launch point toward the Mohan border crossing into Laos.

Traveller notes

An intermediate station on the Yuxi–Mohan section of the China–Laos railway, with a building area of about 3,000 sqm, designed around Mengla's multi-ethnic culture (the 'Colorful Peach Paradise' concept). Sited between the 1,730m Manzhuang Tunnel and the 3,605m Manmai No.1 Tunnel, it is an important hub linking to South and Southeast Asia via Guanlei Port and the Kunming–Bangkok Expressway.
