🚇 To & from the city centre
Manzhouli has no metro. The station is close to the compact town center; a taxi or local bus reaches it within a few minutes.
Formally opened on 3 November 1901 as the first station where the Chinese Eastern Railway (today's Binzhou railway) entered Chinese territory from Russia — which is how the town got the name Manzhouli ('gateway to Manchuria'). It is a first-class station and the terminus of the Binzhou railway, and functions as China's largest land rail port with Russia, where train bogies are swapped between standard Chinese gauge and the wider Russian gauge. A new international freight yard was built between 2008 and 2012 to support China–Europe freight trains passing through.
