Main station for Jilin City, near the Songhua River in the centre. The city has no metro; reach the centre by bus and taxi.

Gateway to Jilin City, famous for its winter rime-ice on the Songhua River and nearby ski resorts (Beidahu). Serves both high-speed and conventional trains. Carry your address in Chinese.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

The listed airport is Jilin Ertaizi Airport (JIL), about 22 km away, but it has been closed to commercial flights since 2005. In practice, Jilin City relies on Changchun Longjia Airport, reached via the intercity high-speed train from Jilin Station directly to Longjia Airport station in about 25-30 minutes for around ¥20-25. This intercity train is the fastest and most suitable option.
