There is no metro in Huangshi. The station is in the Tuanchengshan area of Xialu District, a newer administrative and residential zone; use a city bus or taxi/Didi to reach the older centre on the Yangtze riverfront.

Traveller notes

Entered service on 18 June 2014 as a third-class station with a 4,000 m² building, 2 platforms and 4 tracks. IMPORTANT warning: the station actually named 黄石站 (Huangshi) is located inside Daye City (大冶市) under Huangshi, not in central Huangshi, and on 21 September 2017 all EMU services that had called at 黄石站 were moved to 黄石北站 and 大冶北站. So this is the practical station for fast trains to Huangshi. This station is NOT: 黄石站 (in Daye), NOT 大冶北站 (Daye North) and NOT 阳新站 (Yangxin).

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

The nearest major airports are the neighbouring Ezhou Huahu Airport (鄂州花湖机场, EHU) and then Wuhan Tianhe International (WUH). Reach them by taxi/Didi or coach; we did not verify times or fares. There is no metro in Huangshi.
