After a 2014 renovation, the station has a south (high-speed) section with 2 platforms/4 tracks for the Beijing–Baotou HSR, and a north (conventional) section with 3 platforms/8 tracks. It is about 9 km from Hohhot East Railway Station — confirm the correct station before travelling
