Opened on 1 December 2019 with the Zhengzhou–Xiangyang section of the Zhengzhou–Wanzhou high-speed railway, it is a mid-sized intermediate station (2 platforms, 4 tracks, about 12,000 sqm building) that gave Dengzhou its first direct high-speed rail link to Zhengzhou and onward to Chongqing.
