Traveller notes

First major stop on the Qinghai–Tibet railway between Xining and Golmud. Ordinary trains to Xining, Golmud and Lhasa.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

Haixi Delingha Airport (HXD), about 29 km: there is no direct bus, so the low-cost route takes the airport shuttle bus and gets off at the Yihai Energy Hotel, then a taxi onward to Delingha Railway Station, with the whole trip about 50 minutes and the shuttle leg only 8 yuan plus the short taxi. A direct taxi is simpler at about 30 minutes for around 45 yuan. There is no free transfer.
