Second-class station opened on 1 July 2014 with the Taiyuan South–Xi'an North section of the Datong–Xi'an HSR. Station building 2,954 m², 2 platforms and 4 tracks; about 3,800 departing passengers a day. High-speed trains to Beijing began on 5 January 2025.
