Mainly serves intercity high-speed C-trains to Ya'an and Qionglai, plus some conventional K-trains. Relatively quiet compared with Chengdu East.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU, about 20 km): from Chengdu West Railway Station take Metro Line 4, transfer via the Line 7 loop to Metro Line 10, which runs directly into the Shuangliu terminals; roughly 60 minutes for about 6 yuan. Line 10 is the fast, low-cost choice; there is no free option. A taxi is around 60 yuan.
Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU, about 70 km): ride Line 4 into the centre and transfer to Chengdu South Railway Station, then take the Line 18 airport express (about 35 minutes non-stop) to Tianfu; total roughly 90 minutes for about 15 yuan. A taxi costs 200 yuan or more and takes about 70 minutes.
