The historic station locally called the North Railway Station, served by metro lines 1 and 7. Note: closed for full reconstruction until around 2027; services diverted to Chengdu East and Chengdu South.

"Chengdu North" is not a separate station; it is the local nickname of Chengdu Station itself. The metro station (火车北站) remains open during the works.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

To Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU): take Metro Line 1 to Chengdu South, then change to Line 18 to the airport, about 90 minutes for around ¥10 plus the transfer fare.
To Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU): take the Line 7 loop to Taipingyuan, then Line 10 to the airport, about 40 minutes for ¥6. No free option.
