Anqing has no metro; the station is in Huaining County, some distance from central Anqing — reach it by express bus or taxi.

Traveller notes

Opened 2021 on the He'anjiu HSR; the main high-speed gateway for Anqing toward Hefei and Jiujiang. Anqing is a historic Yangtze-river city (the older central Anqing Station also exists).

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

Anqing Tianzhushan Airport (AQG) is small and lies close to the city, roughly 15 km from Anqing West Railway Station. There is no dedicated shuttle from the station, so the simplest route is a taxi or ride-hailing car, about 25-30 minutes for 40-50 yuan. Alternatively, take a city bus toward the center and transfer to a route serving the airport, which is cheaper (a few yuan) but slower with one change.
