Established on 5 March 2001 in Yantai's Laishan District, this is one of Shandong's MOE-approved schools for children of foreign personnel — a category that by Chinese regulation may enrol only foreign passport holders and residents of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, so foreign families are eligible as a category. It was renamed in 2023 from Yonsei Korean School to Yantai Korea International School. Teaching is in Korean and follows the Korean curriculum, which suits Korean-speaking households; we could NOT verify that it actually accepts non-Korean foreign students, so ask admissions directly. Sources also disagree on the street address (Fenghuang N. Road vs Jiefang Road), so confirm the exact campus location before travelling.
