📖 About the school
Founded by American Adventist educators, Eaglebridge International School (EBIS) opened in October 2012 in Dandong's Zhenxing District, offering kindergarten through Grade 12 on a dual American-Chinese curriculum. Elementary boarders live in house-like residences while secondary boarders share rooms of two to four; the school opened alongside the New Yalu River Bridge project connecting Dandong to Sinuiju, North Korea, and for some years enrolled a mix of Chinese and North Korean students, reflecting the city's unique position on the China-North Korea border.
