📜 About & history

Zhoukou Old Mosque is one of the principal mosques serving the Hui Muslim community of Zhoukou, Henan Province. It was established during the Ming dynasty. It is a well-preserved timber-hall mosque in the traditional Chinese palace style and a protected cultural relic. It is a center of worship and religious education for local Muslims, and the surrounding quarter is home to halal restaurants and shops.
