📜 About & history
Zhenping Mosque in Chengguan Township, Zhenping County, Henan, was founded in 1526 (5th year of the Ming Jiajing era). Its buildings total 1,000 square metres, and the 210-square-metre prayer hall has an overhanging gable roof. Damaged during the Cultural Revolution, its gate, women's prayer hall and ablution house were renovated in 1980.
