Xiaoquan Mosque was built in 1840 (the 20th year of the Daoguang era, Qing dynasty) on Banbian Street in the historic town of Xiaoquan, converted from a Han Chinese ancestral hall into a mosque. The compound spans 6,177 square meters with 2,510 square meters of built structures, including halls, reception areas, study rooms, gardens, and pavilions. It was designated a city-level cultural heritage site in 2006. Alongside the mosque, the ancient town of Xiaoquan is also known for its Daoist and Buddhist temples and Confucian ancestral halls, reflecting the area's cultural and religious diversity.
