📜 About & history

Xianjia Mosque, also called Xianjiaping Mosque, is a Hui mosque in Xianjiaping Village, Xuhujia Township, Jishishan Bonan, Dongxiang and Salar Autonomous County, Linxia, Gansu. Founded in the Qing Qianlong era (1736–1796), it was badly damaged twice and rebuilt a second time in July 1980 to its present size: 5 mu with more than 2,700 m² of buildings. The main hall is a single-eaved, hip-and-gable brick-and-timber building in traditional style on a rectangular stone platform, fronted by the imam's room, lecture rooms and dormitories; the minaret is the tallest structure in the complex.
