Lankao West Street Mosque was founded in the Qing Qianlong era, rebuilt under Gai Shiying in the renchen year of the Guangxu era, renovated in 1983, and its prayer hall rebuilt in September 1999. It houses the Lankao County Islamic Association, founded on 8 September 2020; Zhang Yongbo has been its imam since April 2013.
