📜 About & history

Wenshan Mosque is located in the town of Wenshan, Yunnan, and was built in 1985 on a site of about 0.7 mu. After the founding of the prefecture Islamic Association in 1985, the government allocated funds to purchase the site and the mosque was built with donations from worshippers. Its main hall is in classical Chinese style and holds commemorative plaques reflecting Chinese Muslims' love of country and faith.
