📜 About & history
Tiejia Mosque is one of the eight historic teaching-ward mosques of the Bafang quarter, its congregation forming the Tiejiasi ward. It stands next to the Laohua Grand Mosque and less than 100 metres north of Qianheyan Mosque. Among the Bafang mosques it is one of the more recently rebuilt, presenting a modern take on the local Chinese-Islamic style. It anchors one of the thirteen lanes (Tiejiasi Lane) of the Bafang Shisan Xiang.
