📜 About & history

The Southern Mosque of Tianmu Village dates to 1439 in the Ming Zhengtong era and has more than 500 years of history. Repaired and enlarged many times, the present buildings are recent reconstructions. Tianmu Village in Beichen District is Tianjin's largest Hui community, home to the ancient Northern Mosque (1404) as well.
