The principal mosque of the garrison city of Shihezi and long its only formal Islamic place of worship, located in District 11 at the north end of Xiyi (West No. 1) Road. The west-facing prayer hall has a floor area of about 450 sq m and can hold close to a thousand worshippers, serving the city's Hui community.

In District 11 of central Shihezi; a short taxi or bus ride from the city centre. Shihezi is about 130 km northwest of Urumqi.
