The Nanguan Mosque is the principal congregational mosque of Hezheng county town, in the Hui-majority uplands south of Linxia. Serving the town's Hui community, it is one of the leading mosques of Hezheng County within the Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, a region long central to Chinese Islam.
