The Nanguan Mosque is the principal congregational mosque of Hezheng county town, in the Hui-majority uplands south of Linxia. Serving the town's Hui community, it is one of the leading mosques of Hezheng County within the Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, a region long central to Chinese Islam.

No metro; buses from Linxia to Hezheng county town, then a short walk/taxi to Nanguan.
From the county-town Hui quarter, walk or take a short taxi to the Nanguan area.
In the Nanguan (south gate) area of Hezheng county town, a few minutes from the centre.
Hezheng town has halal Hui dining; Chinese widely spoken. Region also known for the Hezheng paleontology fossils.
