Nancha Mosque on Tiegong Street, Nancha County, was founded in 1945 as a simple three-room thatched building, when the county had about 70 Hui residents. It was rebuilt with community funds in 1955, rebuilt in brick with government support in 1982, and a 50-square-metre funeral room was added in 1992. Its buildings now total 289.25 square metres, including a 130-square-metre prayer hall.
