📜 About & history
Lütan Mosque is in Ercun Village, Lütan Town, 6 km east of Fugou County town, Henan. Founded in the Ming dynasty and repaired in the Qing, it was fully rebuilt after the reform era began; in 2005 Islamic foundation funds and local donations paid for a new Arabic-style building with elegant colonnades. Its imams have included Sha Baisui and Wang Jinshan, and the current imam, Guo Qingjun from Yuanyang, has served since 2008. The Lütan territorial spatial plan (2021–2035) lists it as a municipal-level heritage site.
