📜 About & history
Also called the Baba Mosque, Luling Temple was built in 1719 to honour the Sufi master Qi Jingyi, founder of the Dagongbei branch of the Qadiriyya order in China, who preached in Xixiang from 1682 and died here in 1719. Once a three-temple complex of about 60,000 sq m, only the roughly 1,800 sq m Luling Temple survives. It was listed as a provincial-level protected cultural relic by Shaanxi in 2003.

🚇 How to reach the mosque
In Xixiang county town; local taxi or town bus from Xixiang centre to Niutou Mountain.
No Arab trader quarter nearby; this is a historic Sufi pilgrimage site drawing Chinese Hui pilgrims.
No metro. Xixiang is about 60 km east of Hanzhong city (roughly 1 hour by road/expressway). From Xixiang county town it is a short 1-2 km taxi ride northwest to Niutou Mountain.
