Liulou Mosque, in Liulou Village 13 km north of Yuzhou, was founded in 1923 on four mu of land donated by the elder Ai Linge, who later gave seven mu in all. It began with a three-bay hall and an ablution room; a front porch hall, a north lecture hall and a moon-watching tower were added in 1937. It keeps the house-style layout of a Republican-era mosque and serves nearly 500 Hui.
